i like birds a lot, especially migrating ones and cranes have always been very special to me. where i lived most of my life in germany it was always the melancholy call of the cranes that would bring spring and their leaving was always the saddest thing in autumn. also, i reared a lost crane chick when i was 15, saw how he learned to fly. even though he met a sad end that episode of my life has influenced me much deeper than i realized at that point. i feel myself like a crane, flying from one country to the other following the changing of the season, never quite at rest, seeking the wind.
i love his face and the way you polished the metal in just the right places. i can't really give advanced critique, but if anything i'd like to see the back from a different angle because from this perspective the lines aren't very clear to me.
it's very, very beautiful.
yes, maybe i should have added an extra picture of the back...
but he`s in germany now, with my grandpa where he belongs
It's so beautiful that it will melt from sheer elegance.
thanks
